Texas Performing Arts is pleased to announce the hiring of veteran promoter Tom Bunch as the organization's talent buyer for concerts, a position formerly held by Tim Neece. Tom will oversee talent buying and work with outside promoters to present concerts at Bass Concert Hall, Texas Performing Arts' 3,000-seat flagship venue.

Mr. Bunch has been buying talent for a variety of events and venues, nationally and throughout Texas for over 25 years; and will bring his expertise and strong industry relationships to the Texas Performing Arts talent buyer position. "I'm very happy and excited to be working with Texas Performing Arts and am extremely pleased to be working and living in Austin again," says Tom.

One of Mr. Bunch's objectives is to focus on presenting more concerts and entertainers that resonate with the 50,000 students that attend the University of Texas. "We place a high premium on our long-standing relationships with the agents, managers and entertainers Texas Performing Arts has worked with in the past, but looking forward to developing new industry relationships as we expand and diversify our concert and entertainment programming," says Texas Performing Arts Director and Associate Dean, Kathy Panoff.
