Austin Playhouse's 2012-2013 season continues at Highland with the comic thriller that made Oscar Wilde an overnight star. Be ready for jealousy, intrigue, twists, turns, and massive doses of Wildean wit.

Lady Windermere appears to lead a charmed life. But when a friend suggests that her husband is having an affair with the mysterious Mrs. Erlynne, will she have faith in the man she loves, or be driven into the arms of another? In a society obsessed with scandal, one false step could cost her everything.

Our Austin all-star cast includes CLAIRE LUDWIG (A Room with a View) as Lady Windermere, SUZANNE BALLING as Mrs. Erlynne, BENJAMIN SUMMERS (The Importance of Being Earnest) as Lord Windermere, JASON NEWMAN (The Game's Afoot) as Lord Darlington, Michael Stuart (The Dead Presidents' Club) as Lord Augustus, CYNDI WILLIAMS (The Game's Afoot) as the Duchess of Berwick, BEN WOLFE (The Lion in Winter) as Cecil Graham, CHRISTOPHER LOVELESS as Mr. Dumby, CHASE BREWER as Mr. Hopper, JESSICA HUGHES as Lady Agatha, ANDREA SKOLA SUMMERS as Lady Plymdale, and CRAIG KANNE as Parker.

Direction and set design by LARA TONER, costume design by BUFFY MANNERS, lighting design by DON DAY, and sound design by BRYAN SCHNEIDER.
