METAMORPHOSIS Fundraising Cabaret Will Come to Bee Cave
The Hill Country Galleria event will feature cast members from MMT's upcoming The Addams Family.
Magnolia Musical Theatre has announced Magnolia After Dark: "Metamorphosis", a special one-night-only fundraising cabaret taking place on Sunday, May 17 at 7:30 PM at the Hill Country Galleria (Suite T-145, next to lululemon).
"Metamorphosis" is a captivating musical theatre cabaret that celebrates the beauty and complexity of change. This unique evening of live performance will feature unforgettable musical numbers performed by some members of the cast from MMT's upcoming summer production of The Addams Family, alongside performers from past Magnolia Musical Theatre productions.
Through a thoughtfully curated selection of songs, "Metamorphosis" explores themes of self-discovery, personal growth, and transformation-highlighting pivotal moments in musical theatre where characters stand at the crossroads of who they are and who they are becoming.
From intimate reflections to powerful declarations, each performance captures the courage it takes to evolve and embrace new beginnings. The evening promises to inspire, resonate, and remind audiences that change is not only inevitable-but extraordinary.
"This cabaret is more than just a performance-it's a reflection of our community and the transformative power of theatre," said Andrew Cannata, Executive Artistic Director. "We're thrilled to bring together such talented performers to support Magnolia Musical Theatre's mission and share meaningful stories through music."
The cabaret will feature songs from The Book of Mormon, Beauty and the Beast, Pippin, Songs for a New World, Avenue Q and more!
Guests are invited to connect with the Magnolia community while supporting MMT's ongoing commitment to producing high-quality, accessible theatre experiences. Proceeds from the event will directly benefit Magnolia Musical Theatre's programming and upcoming productions.
