Jarrott Productions' PRODIGAL SON Opens Today

Jarrott Productions' PRODIGAL SON is not your Grandma's Bible story! This is John Patrick Shanley's autobiographical tale of a boy from the Bronx who suddenly finds himself in a private Catholic boys school in New Hampshire. The boy is violent, gifted, alienated, and on fire with a ferocious loneliness. Is the kid a star or a disaster? A passionate portrait of a young man on the verge of salvation or destruction.
Directed by Bryan Bradford, PRODIGAL SON features Sam Domino, Kelly Koonce, David R. Jarrott, Tucker Martin and Holly Shupp Salas. Scene/Lighting Design by Chris Conard; Costumes by Glenda Wolfe; Sound Design by Craig Brock; Original Music Composed by Michael Jarrott.
PRODIGAL SON is being presented Thursday-Saturday evenings at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2:30pm, September 21 through October 15, at the Trinity Street Theatre inside the 1st Baptist Church at 901 Trinity in downtown Austin. Plenty of street and garage parking is available.
Tickets range from $15-$25 and reservations can be made at www.jarrottproductions.com.
