HCCT Hosts REGARDS TO BROADWAY Fundraiser Tonight

The Hill Country Community Theatre will hold a fundraising event, "Regards to Broadway", tonight, March 26 at 6:30 PM.

The show will be performed by the Hill Country Community Theatre Players and will feature songs from Broadway hits, including A Chorus Line, Carousel, Cinderella, Jekyll & Hyde, Kiss Me Kate, Les Miserables, Mama Mia, The Phantom of the Opera, The Sound of Music, South Pacific and many more.

Seth Smith, who will also sing, leads the Hill Country Community Theatre Players. Many talented singers, including Kay Baker, Maris Lynne Long, Alyssa Anderson, Ben Anderson, Glen Bird, Adam Brust, Jennifer Brust, Holden Fox, Patrick Lescarbeau, Alexandria Randolph, Sarah Spillman, Deborah Vanicek and Mandy Whittlesey, will perform solos, duets and choral pieces. There will also be a special appearance by members of the Bluebonnet Chorale. The numbers will be accompanied by the piano stylings of Dan McMurrough.

All proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit the Hill Country Community Theatre. "We rely on events like this to raise the funds needed to serve the community and sustain our work," executive director Mike Rademaekers said. "HCCT has played a critical role in stimulating creativity in this community for 30 years. We hope to continue to have a crucial impact on learning, discovery and achievement in the arts for another 30."
