Atlanta audiences are invited to take an existential trip into the human psyche, the Milky Way galaxy and beyond with Lost in the Cosmos: The Last Self-Help Seminar, a hilarious stage adaptation of the best-selling personal improvement book by Walker Percy (The Moviegoer). Theatrical Outfit proudly partners with the funny folks at Dad's Garage Theatre Company for Theatrical Outfit Artistic Director Tom Key's own adaptation of the popular work. This knee-slapping, mind-expanding comedy plays February 9-26, 2017 continuing Theatrical Outfit's 40th Anniversary Season of Hope!

If Earthlings zoomed to a planet with intelligent life, would they let us land or label us a threat to a more-evolved universe? Walker Percy pondered such existential "what ifs" in Lost in the Cosmos: The Last Self Help Book. The Outfit's Artistic Director, Tom Key, deftly re-imagines Percy's opus as a soul-searching seminar where cheeky group leaders hilariously suggest alternatives to our everyday behavior. A wry and hopeful meditation on our obsessions with reality TV and politics, horoscopes and how-to guides, Lost in the Cosmos engages the mind, soul and funny bone.

Theatrical Outfit's performances of Lost in the Cosmos are Wednesdays through Saturdays at 7:30PM and Saturdays and Sundays at 2:30PM. Tickets range from $20-$50 and may be purchased online at www.theatricaloutfit.org or by calling 678.528.1500. Group pricing is available. For info, email groupsales@theatricaloutfit.org.
