Photo Flash: First Look At FALSETTOS At Actor's Express
Actor's Express presents Falsettos, the landmark musical about how we love, live and grow from March 23 through April 28, 2019. With a Tony Award-winning score by William Finn and book co-written with James Lapine, Falsettos was heralded "a perfect musical" by the New York Times. Director Freddie Ashley says, "Falsettos is so funny and so moving. Finn's score guides us seamlessly between laughter and heartbreak with a gentle hand."
Leading the cast is Suzi Award-winning actor Craig Waldrip (Merrily We Roll Along in Concert, Company, The Rocky Horror Show, Kiss of the Spider Woman) as Marvin. Joining him is a cast of Actor's Express veterans including Jordan Dell Harris (Spring Awakening) as Whizzer, Ben Thorpe (Reykjavík) as Mendel , Jessica De Maria (Sweeney Todd, Murder Ballad) as Trina, Kandice Arrington (Little Shop of Horrors) as Dr. Charlotte and Kylie Brown (An Octoroon, Little Shop of Horrors, Spring Awakening) as Cordelia. The role of Jason will be shared by Alex Newberg and Vinny Montague.
Falsettos is sponsored by Dr. Jesse Peel and Arlene Glaser. Directing sponsors are Susan Tanner and Richard Hale.
Performances of Falsettos are Wednesdays through Saturdays at 8 PM and Sundays at 2 PM. Tickets are $20-$60 and may be purchased online at actors-express.com or by calling 404-607-7469.
