The Newnan Community Theatre Company presents PSYCHO BEACH PARTY by Charles Busch, opening Thursday, July 8. Can Florence "Chicklet" Forrest escape the clutches of her evil "Mommie
Dearest," win the respect of Malibu's reigning beach bum, overcome a pesky multiple-personality disorder, and learn to shoot the curl in time for the big luau? Or will Chicklet and her hormone-addled, pan-sexual surfer pals regain consciousness one morning on a desolate sand dune, naked and hairless from head to toe, the latest victims of the beach's unstoppable, serial-shaving
dominatrix?

Welcome to Psycho Beach Party, a heavily spiked umbrella drink of a comedy from the warped mind of playwright Charles Busch. This campy romp is directed by Newnan resident Jeff Allen with assistant director Nicole Walker. Performances begin Thursday, July 8 and run through July 18, with curtain times on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8pm, and Sundays at 2:30pm.

PLEASE NOTE: This show contains sexual themes and adult language and is not recommended for children under age 13.

Ticket prices are $12 for adults, $10 for Seniors (60+) and Students, and $8 for children 12 and under. Thursday night shows are 2-FOR-1 admission - bring a friend for free! Reservations are recommended - visit our website at www.newnantheatre.org or call 770-683-6282.

Newnan Community Theatre Company is Newnan's only live theatre, and is located at 24 1st Avenue in historic downtown Newnan. NCTC has been producing quality entertainment for over 30 years.
