If you're looking for a unique evening out, Newnan Community Theatre Company (NCTC) presents "Improvisational Experiment" Friday, January 15 and 16 at 8 pm. "Improvisational Experiment" is an interactive night of performances based on a series of themes. They are created on the spot by a group of actors. The actor's mission is to produce and perform a real and highly original play completely improvised based on the audience's decision.

The audience will vote on a theme, then be presented with a variety of scenes. The audience then decides which scenes they'd like to see continue until only one scene is ultimately played out to its finale. Themes include heroes, alienation, individuality vs. conformity, fate, sin, and time.

Directed by Jeff Allen and Spencer Jordan, actors for the evening include Trey Stephens, JohnPaul Phillips, Susan Patterson, and KC Pollak

The show costs $10 for those 13 and up and $5 for anyone 12 and younger. Held in the black box, "Improvisational Experiment" evenings are not recommended for all ages. Parents should use guidance when deciding to bring young children. Reservations can be made by calling the theatre at (770) 683-6282 or by visiting their website, newnantheatre.org. Tickets may be purchased at the door or in advance through the theatre's website.

NCTC is located at 24 1st Avenue in downtown Newnan. The comedy/farce "What The Butler Saw" opens on the main stage on January 29th. Information on all upcoming events and auditions can be found on the theatre's website.
