MARRIED & STILL LOOKIN' World Premiere Comes to The Perfect Note in Atlanta
Robert King Jr. writes and directs the King Productions show, starring Timeca Seretti and J. Avery.
King Productions will return to The Perfect Note in Atlanta with a brand-new world premiere written and directed by Robert King Jr. - Married & Still Lookin'.
King says the production has been "9 years in the making," and he's thrilled to finally bring the show to Atlanta audiences for the very first time.
"Since my roots are in Texas - where I was born and raised - I felt like Houston would be the perfect place to set the story," King shares.
The show opens with the sound of a gunshot, immediately pulling audiences into the chaotic and hilarious recollection of Sugar (J. Avery), a flamboyant, hood-salon owner determined to explain exactly how everyone got to this moment.
Set against a backdrop of three onstage bedrooms, drama and comedy echo from wall to wall as the lives of three very different couples collide. From newlyweds struggling to survive their first fixer-upper home, to an older couple desperate for sleep while trying to repair their son and ex-daughter-in-law's marriage, to a husband battling a midlife crisis while his wife reconnects with a potential old flame - Married & Still Lookin' delivers laughter, chaos, and truth with every scene.
With a mix of comedy, relationship drama, and unforgettable characters, this production truly has something for everyone.
The cast includes Timeca Seretti (from 'Beyond the Gates'), alongside E-J Mills, Madison Smith, Brenda Barnes, Valoneecia Tolbert, William M. Carroll, Jr., William Hayes, Sheleah Harris, J. Avery, Monty Montgomery and Ruth Adams Gravely. The production also includes voiceover performances by Sireze Booker, Nic Starr, and Princess Star featuring a few original songs written By: J. Chester
Married & Still Lookin' runs for a limited engagement at The Perfect Note on May 13th and 14th.
