Georgia Shakespeare invites families to party like it's 1599!
Celebrate the 447th birthday of the world's greatest playwright with Georgia Shakespeare at this FREE FAMILY EVENT. Shakespeare's Birthday Party, sponsored by the Junior League of Atlanta, will feature arts and crafts, performances, a bouncy house, games, prizes, and, of course, birthday cake. Nathan's Hot Dogs and beverages will be available for purchase.
While enjoying the party, patrons may take advantage of Georgia Shakespeare's Jungle Book One-Day Sale. During the celebration, visit our Box Office where we are offering tickets to this summer's Family Classics presentation for just $6 (regularly $13). You can also grab tickets for any of our 2011 Season performances.
Festivities kick off at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 23 at the Conant Performing Arts Center at Oglethorpe University. Parking and the party are free and open to the public.
