Avenue Q Extends At Horizon Theater Thru 3/11

Horizon Theatre is extending the run of its production of Avenue Q through March 11, 2012. This show from Horizon's 2011 season returned to the stage January 13. 

Performances are Wednesday through Friday at 8:00 PM, Saturday at 3:00 PM and 8:30 PM,
and Sunday at 5:00 PM. This show includes mature content and is not recommended for
children.

Tickets start at $30 for weekday performances and $40 for weekend performances.
Prices are subject to availability, so buy early for the best prices. Audiences are invited to stay
after the performances for a photo-op with the puppets.

I RUV U VIP VALENTINE'S DAY PACKAGE
To celebrate Valentine's Day, Horizon will offer a special performance of Avenue Q on Tuesday,
February 14, 2012 at 8:00 PM. The I Ruv U VIP package is $100 and includes two reserved seats,
two drink vouchers, and Valentine's Day treats. General admission tickets start at $30.

SUZI BASS AWARDS
Horizon's production of Avenue Q is the winner of seven 2011 Suzi Bass Awards including
Outstanding Production of a Musical. Actors Nick Arapoglou (Outstanding Lead Actor in a
Musical) and Leslie W. Bellair (Outstanding Featured Actress in a Musical) reprise their awardwinning roles as Princeton and Christmas Eve. Additional awards include Outstanding Director of a Musical (Heidi Cline McKerley), Outstanding Music Director (Renée S. Clark), Outstanding Scenic Design of a Musical (Isabel and Moriah Curley-Clay), and Outstanding Lighting Design of a Musical (Mary Parker).

NEW CAST MEMBERS
Horizon will welcome several new faces to Avenue Q throughout the extended run. Shane
Desmond-Williams makes his Horizon debut sharing the role of Nicky with Horizon veteran Jeff
McKerley. Spencer G. Stephens, who played Gary Coleman in Horizon's original production, will
reprise the role starting in late February. Brian Kimmel and Dustin Lewis will also join the cast
taking over the roles of Brian and Rod/Trekkie respectively.
