Zachary James to Return to Crazy Coqs with HADESTOWN and PHANTOM Stars
Benjamin Cox leads musical direction for the performance at Soho's Brasserie Zédel.
Grammy Award winner and Broadway, West End and opera star Zachary James will bring a one-night-only evening of music and special guests to Crazy Coqs on 25 May at 7.30pm.
"Zachary James and Friends" will reunite James with Allie Daniel, Simon Oskarsson, and Lauren Azania, of Hadestown; Kelly Glyptis from The Phantom of the Opera, and Ben Joyce, from The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Musical direction is by Benjamin Cox.
Known for performances spanning Broadway, the West End, opera, film, and television, James made his West End debut as Hades in the original 2024 cast of Hadestown and played Frollo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame in concert. He has starred in four productions with the English National Opera and will return to ENO next year in Einstein on the Beach. Recent stage highlights include playing Caiaphas in Jesus Christ Superstar at the Hollywood Bowl and appearances with LA Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago and Teatre Liceu Barcelona.
