WPPAC's Conservatory Theatre Announces 2012 Summer Theatre Academy

WPPAC's Conservatory Theatre today announced the 2012 Summer Theatre Academy, June 25 - August 18, two four-week sessions where young performers ages 10 - 17 have the opportunity to study and train with Broadway teaching artists and workshop their skills in full-scale, professional productions.

Students participate in daily workshops in acting, auditioning, improv, singing, dance and on-camera acting technique (commercials and scene study) in the morning and then rehearse one of the productions above during the afternoon. There is NEVER a dull moment and kids keep working throughout the entire day (10 am - 4:30 pm with a half-hour for lunch) under the nurturing eye of a professional staff and many production assistants (5:1 ratio).

WHEN: Session 1 - THE WIZ (June 25 - July 21) and Session 2 - FOOTLOOSE (July 23 - August 18)

WHAT TO PREPARE: Nothing to prepare and NO AUDITION necessary.

TUITION: Early Registration - $925 (if received by April 1) / Regular Registration - $950 (received after April 1) Sibling discounts and multiple session discounts available.
