WNYC Studios Introduces LATE NIGHT WHENEVER with Michelle Buteau; Leslie Odom, Jr. to Appear Tomorrow

From the producers behind hit WNYC Studios podcasts 2 Dope Queens, Sooo Many White Guys, and Nancy, comes LATE NIGHT WHENEVER, a hilarious send-up of late night TV, complete with celebrity guests, live music, and stand-up. Host Michelle Buteau, a 2 Dope Queens fan favorite and VH1 host, is known for her raw comedy and disarming style-she'll bring both to the stage on LATE NIGHT WHENEVER. Guests will get personal and reveal all. Even the audience will have the opportunity to get in on the action in this podcast recorded live in downtown New York City. Michelle will be joined by one-man house band Rob Lewis, producer and musical director for stars like Christina Aguilera and Patti LaBelle.

Live tapings will kick off on Tuesday, March 13 at 7:30pm EST and take place weekly through May 1 in The Jerome L. Greene Performance Space at WNYC; tickets are available now, here.

The LATE NIGHT WHENEVER podcast will launch on Tuesday, April 3.

Born in New Jersey to Caribbean parents, Michelle Buteau's stand-up appearances also include The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Lopez Tonight, Comedy Central, and Last Comic Standing. She's appeared on the screen on Broad City, Key & Peele, The ERIC ANDRE Show, and on VH1's Big Morning Buzz, where she served as a co-host. In addition, she will be a featured performer on the much-anticipated 2 Dope Queens special coming out this February on HBO.
