The trailer is here for Lisa Ann Walter: It Was An Accident, the long-awaited debut comedy special from the performer, who is currently starring as Ms. Fleming and Veronica’s Mom in the off-Broadway production of Heathers.
In the special, Walter takes on feral Gen-Xers, self-loathing, and navigating a backsliding America, via the no-filter lens of a grown-ass woman who has been paying attention. It will debut on Hulu on Friday, May 15.
Lisa Ann Walter: It Was An Accident is written, performed, executive produced and directed by Lisa Ann Walter, and produced by Art & Industry. Sheryl Lee Ralph, Michelle Caputo, and Shannon Hartman also executive produce.
Walter joins Hulu's “Hularious” collection with the special, which also includes those from comedians Ralph Barbosa, Bill Burr, Chris Distefano, Jim Gaffigan, Zarna Garg, Ilana Glazer, Jessica Kirson, Matteo Lane, Sebastian Maniscalco, Kumail Nanjiani, Atsuko Okatsuka, Frankie Quiñones, Andrew Santino, Roy Wood Jr., and upcoming specials from Nikki Glaser, Hannah Berner, and Bobby Lee.
About Lisa Ann Walter
Lisa Ann Walter’s career spans television, film and the stage. She is currently starring as fan favorite Melissa Schemmenti in ABC’s highest rated comedy show, the Emmy-Nominated, SAG AWARD Best Comedy Ensemble Winning, “Abbott Elementary”. Walter’s film highlights include stand-out performances as Chessy in “The Parent Trap” with Dennis Quaid, and Bobbie in “Shall We Dance” opposite Richard Gere.
