2025 was a big year for Tala Ashe. In January she made her Broadway debut in the PUlitzer Prize-winning play English. Just a few months later, she is a Tony nominee for her performance!
"I think English was the perfect combination of a play that was very well built, but the message is operating on many levels. It's not beating over your head on any of it," she told BroadwayWorld's Richard Ridge. "Especially now, in a world when we are in an empathy deficit, English really demanded that of the characters and the audience."
