Jeremy Jordan is nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical.
It's been over a decade since Broadway favorite Jeremy Jordan has been nominated for a Tony Award (Newsies, 2012). This season he's back onstage in his most immobile role yet- the titular character in the first ever Broadway production of Floyd Collins.
"I'm forced to go to places that I'm really uncomfortable going to. I don't have anything to hide behind- I'm just stuck," he told BroadwayWorld's Richard Ridge. "I'm going to some weird places that I have never been. I think the music and the dialogue unlocks those place. You have to just step through the door and trust them."
Watch as Jeremy chats more about the Floyd's journey, why this role means so much to him, and so much more. Plus, check out who he is up against and catch up on all the latest Tony Awards coverage!
