Just prior to taking the court for the 2015 U.S. Open, kicking of this Sunday, Aug. 31, tennis star Serena Williams decided to channel her nervous energy into a spectacular karaoke performance of "Under the Sea" from THE LITTLE MERMAID.

Sponsored by Delta Air Lines, the annual Karaoke Open Mic Night is now in its second year. Said Williams of the song choice, "I'm going to make a game time decision. I always get so nervous every year like, `I don't know what to do, I don't know what to do."

The 33-year-old went on to wow the crowd with her vocal chops, as well as her dance moves and Caribbean accent. "We just kind of wanted to celebrate just kicking off (the) U.S. Open and having fun and relaxing and enjoying it," she shared. Check out the performance below!

THE LITTLE MERMAID stage musical, produced by Disney Theatrical, officially opened at Broadway's Lunt-Fontanne Theatre in 2008. Based on the animated 1989 Disney film of the same name and the classic story of The Little Mermaid by Hans Christian Andersen, the musical's book is by Doug Wright, with music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Howard Ashman (written for the film), with additional lyrics by Glenn Slater. The show played 685 performances and 50 previews and starred Sierra Boggess in the title role, along with Norm Lewis, Sherie Rene Scott and Tituss Burgess.
