Entertainment Weekly has exclusively shared the first music video from Season 2 of The CW comedy CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND. The video, featuring series star and creator Rachel Bloom, features the new song "Love Kernels" a parody of Beyonce's avant-garde musical film Lemonade.

"The underlying emotion of the song is desperation," Bloom tells EW. "We loved the idea of playing with abstract imagery with a very human emotion - which is, desperation over someone texting you at 3 a.m.. The high-art and low-brow meaning of that was interesting and something we hadn't done that before."

In CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND, Rebecca Bunch is a successful, driven, and possibly crazy young woman who impulsively gives up everything - her partnership at a prestigious law firm and her upscale apartment in Manhattan - in a desperate attempt to find love and happiness in that exotic hotbed of romance and adventure: suburban West Covina, Calif (it's only two hours from the beach! Four in traffic). Season 2 premieres Oct. 21 at 9 p.m. ET, on The CW
