It has one year since GLEE star Cory Monteith unexpectedly passed away.  Even so, his fans, friends, and family have not forgotten him.  Many who knew him took to Twitter today to honor his passing.  ET Canada also caught up with Monteith's father, whose relationship was strained with his son at the time of his passing.  Scroll down to read some of the tweets from his loved ones, such as Lea Michele and Matthew Morrison, and to watch the interview with Monteith's father.

Lea Michele tweeted: "We hold you in our hearts today, and every day we remember your smile. We will love you and miss you always. <3"

Matthew Morrison tweeted: "I personally believe Cory was reborn into some other beautiful form a year ago today. I celebrate him and his life... Wherever that may be."

Ryan Murphy tweeted: "Miss you"

Kevin McHale tweeted: "It's been 1 whole year & it's still so surreal, but today is just a reminder of how damn great you were and how much you mean to us all. <3"

Harry Shum Jr tweeted: "I often think of the good memories I shared with Cory and it makes me smile. He was a one of a kind gentleman and will forever be missed."

Kevin Zegers tweeted: "Thinking about my pal Cory today. #rip"

Julie Plec had to use several tweets to express her feelings: "I met Cory Monteith the day he auditioned for Kyke XY for a part in the first script I ever wrote as a legit tv writer. He was exactly...who I had envisioned in the role. He got the part. During the next season he shared his story with me and I was so impressed with him. 1 year ago I got a text from @MagdaEh with the sad news of his passing. I sent blessings to him then and now. He was a good kid.  Sending positive thoughts to those who knew and loved him. I'm enjoying remembering him tonight."

Dot-Marie Jones tweeted: "A YEAR..I WILL ALWAYS HOLD DEAR THE AMAZING TIME I HAD WITH CORY! AS WE MOVE ON IN LIFE I KNOW HE IS MOVING ON IN A BEAUTIFUL PLACE"

Alex Anders tweeted: "Remembering Cory and so many good times that we shared today. He was one of the good guys. Loving, considerate, talented, funny. Miss him."
