VIDEO: Christian Siriano Launches Spring 2013 Campaign
Christian Siriano launched his Spring 2013 video and print campaign. Shot by Brad Walsh at New York's historic Waldorf-Astoria, both feature the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School at American Ballet Theatre dancers Katerina Eng, Isabelle Seiler, and Carolyn Lippert.
The Spring 2013 collection was inspired by the whimsical movement of the ballet, particularly the Dream Ballet as performed by the American Ballet Theatre. It is an adaptation of A Midsummer Night's Dream, the story of love and romance in fairyland.
"I wanted the video to portray the dancers as if each were dreaming about the costumes they'd be wearing in a performance. I wanted this collection to feel as light, soft, and romantic as the dancers on the stage and in the painting, but modern enough to be wearable by today's elegant woman."
