Untitled Theater Co. #61 Presents DOCTORS JANE & ALEXANDER 5/20-6/14

Untitled Theater Co. #61 will present Doctors Jane & Alexander written & directed by Edward Einhorn, as part of the Festival of Jewish Theater & Ideas May 20th thru June 14th. The Festival will frame the Association for Jewish Theatre - International Conference (June 6-10), which will be hosted by Untitled Theater Co. #61. With Music by Alexander S. Wiener & Henry Akona & Choreography by Henry Akona & Danielle Quisenberry, Doctors Jane & Alexander is a World Premiere.

Using found, fabricated & occasionally finagled text, the playwright Edward Einhorn explores the life of his grandfather Alexander S. Wiener, the co-discoverer of the Rh factor in blood, through interviews with his mother, a psychologist who recently retired due to a debilitating stroke. Doctors Jane & Alexander is examination of art, science, ambition & achievement, told with humor & song.
