Tony Winner John Gallagher, Jr. Plays Bowery Electric Tonight, 8/27

Tonight, August 27th, Tony-Award winner John Gallagher Jr (Spring Awakening, American Idiot and HBO's The Newsroom) will return to his rock 'n roll roots for one night only at the legendary Bowery Electric in the East Village.

Gallagher, who originated the role of Moritz Stiefel in Spring Awakening on Broadway, has also appeared in Broadway's American Idiot, Jerusalem and Rabbit Hole, as well as the Off-Broadway productions Farragut North, Port Authority and Kimberly Akimbo. He currently plays Jim Harper in Aaron Sorkin's The Newsroom on HBO.
