Tony Winner Alex Sharp Joins Jenny Slate & Zach Galifianakis in THE SUNLIT NIGHT

According to Variety, Tony Award winner Alex Sharp is set to star alongside Jenny Slate, Zach Galifianakis, Gillian Anderson, and Jessica Hecht in THE SUNLIT NIGHT. The film is based on the novel by Rebecca Dinerstein. Filming is set to take place in Norway this summer. Read more about it from Variety here!

The film follows a young painter (Slate), and an emigrant (Sharp), who find themselves in the Arctic circle for different reasons. She is there to kick her career into high gear, while he is there to bury his father. Together, they come to terms with the past, present and future.

Sharp is a Julliard graduate, who won a Tony in 2015 for his role in THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT TIME. He can currently be seen in the Netflixoriginal film TO THE BONE alongside Lily Collinsand Keanu Reeves, and will soon appear on the big screen in HOW TO TALK TO GIRLS AT PARTIES, MONUMENTAL and U.F.O.

Slate is set to produce the film in addition to starring in it. She is also known for her roles in PARKS AND RECREATION, LANDLINE, and THE SECRET LIFE OF PETS.
