Deadline reports that Tony Award winner Alex Sharp, along with Lili Taylor, and Brooke Smith have signed on for the dark anorexia-themed comedy TO THE BONE. The project marks the feature directorial debut for helmer Marti Noxon. The actors join previously announced cast members Lily Collins, Carrie Preston, Keanu Reeves and Liana Liberto. Noxon penned the script which is based on her own personal experience with anorexia.

Mockingbird Pictures ' Julie Lynn and Bonnie Curtis will produce along with Sparkhouse's Karina Miller.

Sharp is best known for his Tony-winning performance in Broadway's THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME. The young actor closed out his time at Juilliard playing Hally in Athol Fugard's Master Harold...and the Boys, while simultaneously directing a production of A Clockwork Orange the play, which he also adapted.
