XANADU Star Tony Roberts is going into the studio next month to record the audio for the latest crime novel from best-selling author Stuart Woods, entitled "Hot Mahogany," in bookstores in September. This is the 14th Stuart Woods book Roberts has voiced. Roberts is familiar to those who buy the audio as the voice of Sam Barrington, an ex NYC detective, turned lawyer, ala Sam Spade

No stranger to these literary recordings, Robert has voiced "The Maltese Falcon" for Harper Audio, and won two National Audio Book of the Year Awards (Rudy Guiliani's "Leadership" and for "The Stupidest Angel," by Christopher Moore). Fans of Roberts can also hear him voice the upcoming Kurt Vonnegut novel "Cat's Cradle" for Random House.
