Final auditions for The Wilton Playshop's season opening production of the Tony Award winning musical comedy URINETOWN (music and lyrics by Mark Hollmann, lyrics and book by Greg Kotis) will be held on September 7 and September 8, from 7 to 10 PM at The Wilton Playshop, Lovers Lane, Wilton. Callbacks, if needed, will be on September 9.

Be prepared to sing, dance and show your acting chops.

The production will be directed by Stacie Moye, with musical direction by Anna DeMasi and choreography by Marjorie Janeway. Performances will be held October 29, 30, 31, and November 4, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12 and 13, 2010.

The show features a cast of 22 characters, with strong roles for both men and women and equal numbers of heroes and villains. With character names such as Officer Lockstock, Officer Barrel, Little Sally, Penelope Pennywise, and Bobby Strong, the show offers actors a chance to play one-of-a-kind roles with artistic license.
