The Secret Theatre Presents The LIC One Act Play Festival, Beginning 4/4

The Secret Theatre will present 22 new short plays over 3 weeks in their LIC One Act Play Festival running April 4-27th. Each week a selection of plays will be presented. Audiences will vote on their favorites and the top 16 will perform April 25 & 26. The top 8 of those will perform on Saturday April 27th where winners in the Playwright/Director/Actor and Actress categories will be announced.

Plays include works by Susan Barsky, Maggie Carr, Joshua Cohen, Edward Cress, Peggy Dougherty, Brian Doyle, Jessica Fleitman, F.J. Hartland, Thomas Heine, Steven Korbar, Johm Lane, Janet Lawler, Mark Harvey Levine, Barbara Lindsay, David MacGregor, Nina Mansfield, Camilla Maxwell, Corey Pajka, Duncan Pflaster, Mary Steelsmith, Nora Vetter and Paul Weissman.

The Directors for the festival are Paula D'Alessandris, Christine Fuchs, Julia Goldstein, Odalis Hernandez, Havilah Imfeld, Rebecca Lewis-Whitson, Christopher Noffke, Simon Pearl, Ghenet Brianna Pinderhughes and Stephanie Staes.

The LIC One Act Festival opens at the Secret Theatre's Little Theatre, located at 44-02 23rd St., Long Island City, Thursday, April 4 and will run through Saturday, April 27 with performances on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m.

The venue can be easily reached from Manhattan via the 7, E, M & G trains to the Courthouse/23st stop or via the N,W & R trains to Queensboro Plaza.
