The Savage Detectives announces that they will premiere Xavier Galva's inaugural New York play, The Parlour, with a limited engagement at Soho Rep's Walkerspace this month.

Enter The Parlour, an exclusive dinner club for New York's elite. However, the affairs and drama of its opulent members go unseen as the play centers around the twenty-something's struggling in the kitchen to keep the restaurant afloat. With an inexperienced staff and a less-than-ethical owner, it is up to new General Manager, Mitchell, to keep the restaurant from going under and taking its employees' survival jobs with it.

Performances will be at Soho Rep. September 16-20 and can be purchased here.

The Parlour marks The Savage Detectives' fourth New York performance and first time producing new work by their resident playwright, Xavier Galva. The Savage Detectives was formed in 2013 by alumni of The Atlantic Acting School with a goal of connecting young artists across the city.

The Parlour by Xavier Galva will be directed by Daniela V. Hart with assistant direction and movement direction by Amanda Black and will star John Anthony Gorman, Shane O'Grady, Pedro Aijón, Alexander Lambie, David Mila, McLean Peterson, Lizzie Stewart and Sarah E. Cote.
