The Ries Brothers (pronounced "Rees"), are the exciting multi-instrumental duo from Tampa Bay, FL. Their infectious sound is a fusion of rock, blues, funk, and reggae which forms a soulful-sophisticated sound that is all their own. They will be doing a performance and live taping in NYC on September 20th at the Iridium with special guests Vini "Mad Dog" Lopez, founding member of the E Street Band and member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Berry Oakley Jr., son of the legendary Allman Brothers bassist. Tickets are on sale now and available here.

The Ries Brothers are comprised of brothers, Charlie Ries and Kevin Jordan Ries. Older brother Charlie (22) sings lead vocals while simultaneously playing drums and keyboard bass giving the band it's unique and full sound. Younger brother Kevin Jordan (18), completes the band's sonic creativity on guitar while providing backing vocals and is a co-writer on their songs. They first started playing local stages in their home area of Tampa Bay, FL about 5 years ago and have since performed over 500 shows, quite an accomplishment for the young musicians one of whom is about to finish high school. Included on their resume are two national tours as opening act for the iconic bandCHICAGO, a 15 city tour with the late Butch Trucks (Allman Brothers) & The Freight Train Band, 2014 Van's Warped Tour, and notable performances which include supporting Daughtry, David Cook, Toby Keith, Los Lonely Boys, REO Speedwagon, Little River Band, and The Edgar Winter Band & The Family Stone, among others.

Late last year the brothers completed their first headlining tour, highlighted by a performance at "The House that Les Paul Built," the legendary Iridium in NYC. The Huffington Post said of the performance, "The insanely talented duo played the Iridium in Manhattan...with special guest Vini "Mad Dog" Lopez, founding member of the E Street Band and member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. When the concert was over they left the crowd begging for more."

So far the duo has released 3 EP's and a Live Concert DVD. They participated in the exclusive Los Angeles GRAMMY Museum's Music Revolution Project in 2013, chosen as one of Tampa Bay Times' favorite artist of 2015, and named a Creative Loafing 2016 Breakout Artist.

The Brothers are currently finishing their first full album, The View From The Outside, which includes original music and surprising collaborations. The new album is set to be released this fall.

The brothers are returning once again to New York City's Iridium on September 20th for an exclusive performance with special guests Vini Lopez and Berry Oakley Jr. . Tickets for Iridium show can be purchased here.
