As part of an effort to introduce themselves to the new, local artists working in Michigan's professional theatre scene, The New Theatre Project is pleased to offer complimentary tickets to all current apprentices on Sunday, February 26 at 8 pm.

"These are our most valuable, hard-working, and underappreciated group of young people working in the theatre. I know, I was there," says Artistic Director Keith Paul Medelis. "We are working with two current apprentices on this show. Somehow they have found time in their busy schedules to serve as the director and properties designer. We're thrilled to have them and can't wait to introduce our company to others and possibly provide professional work for them someday."

Reservations are strongly recommended for Apprentice Night. And of course industry folk and former apprentices are welcome as well for the low industry price of $10.

Lucy and Chris are typical American twenty-somethings struggling to survive the Great Recession with their dignity intact. They hate their jobs like most everybody else, but they need the insurance, and at least they have each other. Right? When Chris loses his job, he convinces Lucy they should launch a boutique sex website and sell the idea of her as an all-American girl next door, somehow both pure and hedonistic at the same time.
