Ars Nova presents Wendy Ho in "The Gospel According to Ho" on Friday, December 14 at 11PM at Ars Nova (511 West 54th Street).  All tickets are $10.  Ben Rimalower directs; Brian Nash as musical director.

"Blasting straight out the ass of New York City's underground comedy scene, Wendy Ho blurs the lines between music and illness. She will steal your purse, warn you about the dangers of flossing your teeth before oral sex, and demand that 'you feather Susan's Loochey.' All of these subjects and more are elegantly penetrated in 'The Gospel According to Ho.' Expect old school rhymes and one ho's own take on healing and self love," explain press note.

"The Gospel According to Ho" plays Friday, December 14 at 11PM.  All tickets are $10.  To purchase tix, call SmartTix at 212-868-4444 or go to www.SmartTix.com. For more information visit www.arsnova.com

Raised in a trailer court, and overindulged with too many episodes of "227" and "Good Times", Wendy Ho, self-proclaimed Nubian princess, hasn't always been black. After moving to NYC from Kansas City, she spent years on the streets of Harlem hustlin', hoin', and flowin'. Ho started writing songs about her experiences as a white trash gurl gone ghetto ho in Harlem, USA. The Ho & Mo Show was widely acclaimed by audiences during her nine month residency at Therapy in NYC. Her very own monthly variety show, The Wendy Ho Show at Caroline's on Broadway featured headliners Judy Gold and Susie Essman. Her debut video, "Bitch I Stole Yo Purse," is currently running on LOGO TV's "NewNowNext". www.wendytheho.com

(starring Sutton Foster), And/or (Dixon Place) and Sodom the Musical (Kraine Theatre) as well as staged readings for Second Stage, The York and EST.  He conceived and directed "Leslie Kritzer is Patti LuPone at Les Mouches" (Time Out New York Award) in addition to a slew of solo shows including Lindsey Alley's "Look Ma, No Ears," Our Lady J and the Pink Champagne Orchestra at the Zipper Factory, Scott Nevins' "Celebutant" (MAC nomination), John Hill's "Skinny Corpse," Kate Pazakis' "The Sexless Years" (MAC nomination), Lance Horne's "How Love Goes" and multiple incarnations of Natalie Joy Johnson.

Brian Nash has been music directing and orchestrating for the theater since the age of 16. In the past decade, he has music directed over 40 shows, led orchestras for concert, stage, and recordings, orchestrated and arranged for theater pieces and rock bands, and produced several albums.
