On Wednesday, December 1st at the landMark West Village restaurant and popular celebrity destination-The Famous Pink Tea Cup, United Cerebral Palsy of New York City will kick off the Holidays with The Santa Project Party.

The party will be hosted by and Film & Theatre Director/Producer & Entrepreneur Lawrence Page and Supermodel Camilla Barungi of "Project Runway" fame with Celebrity guests from Fashion, Film, Television and Broadway.

The Santa Project Holiday Party will benefit United Cerebral Palsy of NYC, New York City's premiere agency for Children and adults living with disabilities.

Lawrence Page's Famous Pink Tea Cup will be providing its world acclaimed food and beverages for the evening. In addition, Page will announce that he is donating 200 turkeys to children and families living with disabilities in the Greater New York City area. There will be a check presentation by Page to Edward R. Matthews, CEO of United Cerebral Palsy of New York City on behalf of The Santa Project.

"UCP/NYC is very grateful to Lawrence Page and The Famous Pink Tea Cup as well as several other donors and friends, especially in these times, to express their concern for our neediest children and families during this Holiday Season, " says Edward R. Matthews, CEO of United Cerebral Palsy of New York City. "It once again shows the spirit and generosity of New Yorkers."

"I am happy to support United Cerebral Palsy of New York City and their ambitious ongoing work to enrich the lives of children, adults and families living with disabilities," says Lawrence Page. "The idea that 200 turkeys will be given to this organization to distribute to families in need of them really appealed to me because it is in the spirit of giving in a tangible way and it will actually get to people who need a little extra help during the holidays."

"This organization is changing lives every day for thousands of families and individuals on Greater New York City. This past spring, I attended their Women Who Care Luncheon at Cipriani 42nd Street and was deeply moved to hear of the scope and magnitude of the programs UCP/NYC offers and how it affects people's lives."

The Santa Project Party kicking off the Holiday season will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 pm at The Famous Pink Tea Cup at 88 7th Avenue in Manhattan.
