The Collaboration Project, an experimental concert uniting one lyricist with 14 other musical theatre writers, will be presented at The Triad on July 31 at 8 PM.

Conceived by lyricist Kevin Wanzor, The Collaboration Project features songs all written in the past four weeks. The concert explores the varying and exciting results of the collaborative process.

The evening will feature songs by composers Mark Allen (Band Geeks!, 2009 Larson Award), Roxy Arroyo, J. Oconer Navarro (2007 Larson Award), Joel B. New (2008 Larson Award), Holly O'Brien, Willem Oosthuysen, Mike Pettry (2007 Larson Award), Alexandra Rubin, Rich Silverstein, Tyler Rivera Stein, David Alan Thompson, Keith Varney (I Got Fired at NYMF), and Chris York.

Performers include Mykal Kilgore (Hair), Dionne Figgins, (Memphis), Ariela Morgenstern (Adding Machine), as well as Liz Asti, Ashley Campana (High School Musical), Drew Gasparini, Ayesu Lartey, Collin Leydon, Lauren Marcus (The Plant That Ate Dirty Socks), Manna Nichols (Me and Miss Monroe), Holly O'Brien, Kate Rose, Christopher Totten (Thrill Me) and Gregory L. Williams (LCT's South Pacific, national tour) and Chris York.

Laura Brandel serves as director, with David John Madore as vocal director and Lorenzo Wolff as band director.
