Written in the style of the absurdist comedies of Samuel Beckett, The Box Colony Theatre Company's new play Is That Danny DeVito? focuses on the psychological non-adventures of two over-educated but under-employed millennials as they wait for a perpetually delayed bus to deliver them from their New England campsite to their beloved Garden State.

As they wait, Dusty (Julian Gordon) and Geoff (David Gazzo) pass the time with the help of bizarre locals (Natasha Edwards & Carlo Fiorletta) and conversations on topics ranging from the millennial experience to celebrity culture, pop entertainment, literature, New Jersey, and whether or not a man unseen to the audience is Danny DeVito.

"Even though this is a parody of Waiting for Godot, the Tragecomedy is still here." Says Director Amanda Levie. "I wanted to sneak into everybody through the relatability of the characters."

This production marks The Box Colony Theatre's first collaboration with Art House Productions, a driving force behind Jersey City's growing arts scene.

Tickets are $20 and discounts are available to students and senior citizens. Tickets can be purchased at the door or through Brown Paper Tickets at ITDD.brownpapertickets.com. To learn more about The Box Colony Theatre Inc., visit us at www.boxcolonytheatre.com.
