The Arsenal Gallery Presents Melanie Fischer's 'Outside In' 3/3-4/22

Outside In, Melanie Fischer's installation of fabric flowers and foliage, transforms the Arsenal Gallery into a textile wonderland. Using synthetic materials, such as Astroturf and printed fabric, Fischer creates a fanciful retreat, crafting a tactile experience that is becoming increasingly lost in our virtual world. For six weeks, an animated Central Park will slip into the Arsenal building for this playful illusion.

Outside In will be on exhibit from March 3, 2010 - April 22, 2010 on
weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission is free.

The Arsenal Gallery is on the 3rd Floor of 830 Fifth Avenue (at 64th Street) in Manhattan. Take the N/R train to Fifth Avenue at 60th Street, Southeast corner of Central Park.
