Tall Grass Set to Open March 12 at Beckett Theatre

Tall Grass, Brian Harris' dark comedy about couples' dependencies and infatuations spinning out of control, will officially open March 12th, 2007 at the Beckett Theatre on Theatre Row  (410 W. 42nd St) and play a limited engagement through April 15th. Previews began March 3rd. Directed by Nick Corley (Flight, The Civil War), the show follows three different couples through their obsessive relationships and dangerous fantasies with unpredictable and oddly funny results. Of the three plays that make up Tall Grass, The Business Proposal was shown at the American Theatre of Actors and won the Jean Dalrymple Award for Best Comedy Playwright, and The Gerbil won the Strawberry One-Act Festival.

Tall Grass features Mark H. Dold (Absurd Person Singular, Shockheaded Peter), Edward O'Blenis ("Eden," "Law and Order: SVU"), and Marla Schaffel (Tony Award® nominee: Jane Eyre, Titanic).



Tall Grassplays Tuesday-Saturday at 8pm, with matinees Saturday at 2pm and Sunday at 3pm. Opening night, March 12, is at 7 PM. There are no performances Wednesday March 7 or no Tuesday March 13. For tickets, call Ticket Central (212) 279-4200 or go to www.TicketCentral.com
