THE HENRY CLYDE CANNING MURDER HOUSE, and More Set For New Art City Theatre Festival
LAUGHING MATTER, JOHN DILLINGER GETS A MANICURE, TESSERACT & more will be staged at Knights of Columbus Hall in Ventura
New Art City Theatre will present a four-day festival of staged readings June 18 through June 21 at the Knights of Columbus Hall. The event will feature four plays selected from 364 nationwide submissions, with two performances of a different work each day.
The festival will include afternoon and evening readings at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. June 18 through June 20, and at 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on June 21. Each presentation will be followed by a talkback session with the playwrights and artists.
The selected works are THE HENRY CLYDE CANNING MURDER HOUSE by Christian Missonak, LAUGHING MATTER by Rob Ulin, JOHN DILLINGER GETS A MANICURE by Elise Forier Edie, and TESSERACT by Scott C. Sickles.
Each play will be directed by a professional director and performed by actors from the Los Angeles and Ventura areas.
