Due to Hurricane Irene, City Parks Foundation's SummerStage was forced to cancel all events originally scheduled for Saturday, August 28 through Monday, August 29. As weather conditions have improved, SummerStage has decided to proceed with the planned schedule of events effective as of Tuesday, August 30.

In addition to the regular schedule, SummerStage has rescheduled Central Park's Mainstage R&B concert, originally planned for Sunday, August 28 to take place on Wednesday, September 21. The revised line up will feature: Jagged Edge, Melanie Fiona, Chris Walker and The Force M.D.s.
Further details on the rescheduling of the Charlie Parker Jazz Festival have not yet been determined.
