Stomp, the international hit showcasing percussion and movement, will be featured on National Public Radio's All Things Considered today, Wednesday November 23rd. In New York, the story is scheduled to air today at 5:23 PM on WNYC 820 AM or 93.9 FM.
"Reporter Robert Smith sat in last week during part of Stomp's recent auditions at its New York home, The Orpheum Theatre in the East Village. In addition to speaking with Stomp's creators/directors Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas, and some of the 500 people who auditioned, he captured some of the unique paces that aspiring Stompers are put through during the audition process," state press notes.
Stomp is currently playing at New York's Orpheum Theatre, in London's West End, and on U.S. and UK tours. The US tour is in Savannah GA tonight; the UK tour is currently in Newcastle.
