Steve Tyrell Signs With Cafe Carlyle For Holiday Shows

Acclaimed vocalist Steve Tyrell has signed an exclusive three-year deal to perform during the happening holiday season at the Café Carlyle through 2010, it was announced today by James McBride, Managing Director of The Carlyle Hotel. Tyrell, who is currently selling out the legendary room with his newest show, has been playing the Café's coveted holiday season engagement since the passing of Carlyle legend and perennial, Bobby Short, in 2005.

He is a treasured member of the Carlyle family and we look forward to having him with us during each holiday season, the most wonderful time of the year in New York. To the many fans who travel to Manhattan each year to stay at The Carlyle and catch the show, Steve Tyrell is a New York holiday tradition" noted Mr. McBride.
In his current show, Mr. Tyrell offers an evening of standards from the Great American Songbook, holiday favorites, and selections from his latest CD "Back to Bacharach."
Shows are Tuesdays through Saturdays at 8:45PM with additional shows Thursday - Saturday evenings at 10:45PM.
