Laetitia Sadier might be best known for her work with Stereolab, but she is currently working on getting her second solo album, "Silencio" heard by as many people as possible. On Saturday, September 22nd, she will be performing both new and old material at Brooklyn's Knitting Factory.

The follow-up to Sadier's 2010 album, "The Trip," is being portrayed as "an album exploring the individual connection to a deeper self, placed in a broader environment, in a similarly fresh kind of way." The goal and focus of the album is the same as it always has been for Sadier's solo musical endeavors; using her candid voice to help you attain an inner connection with yourself.

In her 25 year career, Laetitia Sadier has contributed her vocals to bands like McCarthy, Stereolab and Monade. She has also collaborated with other acts such as Blur, Mouse on Mars and Common. Containing the ability to play keyboards, guitar and percussion, Laetitia Sadier is a one woman army poised to continue to build on her amazing career.
