Stephanie J. Block Performs at Birdland June 26-27

Stephanie J. Block appears in her one-woman show, BLOCK PARTY! at Birdland on Monday & Tuesday, June 26 & 27 at 7pm. This concert is a continuation of "Summer In The City @ Birdland," a series of events featuring top Broadway stars, cabaret performers and songwriters at the legendary club (315 West 44th Street, NYC). There is a $35 cover and $10 food/drink minimum.

Stephanie J. Block recently starred on Broadway as Liza Minnelli in The Boy From Oz and Elphaba in the National Tour of Wicked. In October, she will be portraying Grania O'Malley, the Pirate Queen, in the pre-Broadway production of The Pirate Queen in Chicago. She brings her dazzling one-woman show to Birdland for the third time, and in addition to singing standards and beloved Broadway songs, will perform a rarely heard ballad cut from Wicked, swinging duets with musical director/performer Billy Stritch and a medley of '60s songs.
