Spring's in the Air with Spring-Inspired Events at Staten Island Children's Museum
This March create wind-inspired art every weekend in Up4Art, the family walk-in workshop, meet some snakes at Second Saturday Snakes, dance a spring jig with everyone's favorite children's musician, Patrick Raftery and learn and watch Irish Stepping with Dawn Daniels!
The schedule of events is as follows:
Up4Art (March 1&2): Create colorful Pinwheels to spin in the wind, Saturday & Sunday at 1-4 p.m.
Kidz Cook (March 7): Come make and eat some Baked Beans, Friday at 2, 3 & 4 p.m.
ssSecond ssSaturday ssSnakes! (March 8): Meet, greet, touch and learn all about live exotic snakes, Saturday at 12:30 p.m.
Up4Art (March 8&9): Air Brush a cool design, Saturday & Sunday at 1-4 p.m.
Sunday Sing-Along with Patrick! (March 9): Spring's A'Coming! Join Patrick for a spring sing-along, bring your instruments or play along on ours, Sunday at 12 p.m.
Kidz Cook (March 14): What's more Irish than Corned Beef & Cabbage, Friday at 2, 3 & 4 p.m.
Up4Art (March 15&16): More windy art, this week try some Spin Art, Saturday & Sunday at 1-4 p.m.
Irish Stepping with Dawn Daniels! (March 16): Join us for some St. Patrick's Day magic, stepping with Dawn and her Irish Dancers, Saturday at 2 p.m.
Kidz Cook (March 21): Try some delicious warm Fruit Compote, Friday at 2, 3 & 4 p.m.
Up4Art (March 22&23): Pretend you're the wind turbine on our roof and make some Spin Art, Saturday & Sunday at 1-4 p.m.
Kidz Cook (March 28): What's better than an ol'fashioned Egg Cream, Friday at 2, 3 & 4 p.m.
