Shenkman and Greer Join Naked Angels for 6/18 Show

Acclaimed actors Ben Shenkman and Judy Greer will join Naked Angels for an evening of play readings and monologues at Makor on Sunday, June 18th at 7 PM.

Shenkman earned a Tony nomination for his performance in Proof, and has also appeared on Broadway in Sight Unseen and The Deep Blue Sea. Film and TV credits include "Law and Order," Must Love Dogs, "Ed" and Roger Dodger, as well as HBO's "Angels in America," in which he played Louis.

Greer's film and TV credits include "Arrested Development," "Love Monkey," Elizabethtown, The Village, 13 Going on 30 and The Wedding Planner. She recently appeared Off-Broadway in Show People.

"The bicoastal theater group Naked Angels counts numerous stars of stage and screen among its members, including Matthew Broderick, Sarah Jessica Parker, Marisa Tomei, and Rob Morrow," state press notes.

Makor, a program of the 92nd Street Y, offers New Yorkers in their 20s and 30s opportunities for exploration and connection within an environment committed to Jewish pluralism, cultural innovation and intellectual excellence. Programs range from cutting-edge music performances, independent and foreign film screenings and art and photo exhibits to workshops, talks and classes on a variety of topics including Jewish culture. Through professional networking and community service initiatives Makor (Hebrew for "source") also provides opportunities to connect and create community. Events take place in the club-like atmosphere of a beautifully refurbished double brownstone at 35 West 67th street, one of New York's landmark blocks.
