This spring, Pull Together Productions will present the world premiere of Virus Attacks Heart by Yale Drama Series Award winning playwright, Shannon Murdoch, directed by Brian Gillespie, as part of the 6th Annual Planet Connections Theatre Festivity. The Festivity will take place May 12 through June 8 at the Paradise Factory.

Shannon Murdoch is the 2011 winner of the Yale Drama Series Award for her full-length play New Light Shine. Playwright, John Guare has called her work "raw, haunting, richly poetic, and deeply emotional." In her new play, Virus Attacks Heart, a spilled drink in a nightclub leads to an odyssey of connection, confession, heartache and transcendence for two strangers who come to realize just how much they need each other.

The cast features Luke Wise (Tartuffe, Fringe NYC) as Jaime and Gina LeMoine (Doe, Black Door Theatre Co.) as Beatrice. Mr. Wise was previously seen in Pull Together Productions' A Frog in Boiling Water as part of the Samuel French Off Off-Broadway Play Festival in 2012.

Virus Attacks Heart will also feature scenic design by Andrew Mannion, sound design by Jacob Subotnick, lighting design by Patrick Mahaney and stage management by Samantha Davis.

Virus Attacks Heart plays the following schedule as part of the Planet Connections Theatre Festivity at The Paradise Factory 64 East 4th Street, NYC:

Sunday May 18th at 3:30pm
Monday May 19th at 6:30pm
Sunday May 25th at 9:30pm
