Shaina Taub presents her last concert of the year at The Public Theater's newly renovated Joe's Pub on Tuesday November 15th at 7:30 PM, featuring a fifteen-piece band of musicians and vocalists in an evening of all original music.

The concert will feature Taub on lead vocals, Justin Goldner (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson) on bass, Hiroyuki Matsuura (Revolting Rhymes) on drums, Adam Stoler on guitar, Dave Melton on piano, Tatum Greenblatt on trumpet, Geoff Countryman (SNL) on alto sax, Nadav Nirenberg on trombone, and Brandon Ellis on cello.

The set will also feature vocalists Jo Lampert (Prometheus Bound), Tom Hennes (The Last Goodbye), Damon Daunno (Brief Encounter), Grace McLean (The Last Goodbye), Kate Ferber (The Daughters), Alex Goley, Trevor Bachman and Mike Brun.

Vermont-raised, New York-based singer/songwriter Taub and her band have played to packed houses at such venues as Rockwood Music Hall and Ars Nova. She released her debut EP this summer, entitled What Otters Do, an eclectic six-song collection spotlighting Taub's unique breed of pop brewed with folk and soul. The album is currently available for free download on Taub's website and all online music providers.

Taub's folk-funk opera, The Daughters, was developed last summer at Mark Brokaw's Yale Institute of Music Theater, featured in the 2010 NAMT Songwriter's Showcase, workshopped at CAP21 Theater Company and was a 2011 Richard Rodgers Awards finalist. She recently received a Macdowell Fellowship.

Joe's Pub is located at 425 Lafayette Street. Admission is $12. For tickets, visit www.joespub.com.
