According to IMDB.com, 'Sex and The City 2' star, Sarah Jessica Parker, is putting her career on hold to focus on raising her three children. Recently, Parker expressed plans to return to Broadway. Parker's first Broadway role was in the play, THE INNOCENTS, at the young age of 11. Then, in 1977, she performed in the classic musical, ANNIE.

Even though the actress has performed on Broadway twice more in the 90s, Parker is waiting for her seven year-old and 10 month-old twins to get older before once again booking Broadway. She tells E! Online, "As soon as my children are old enough to put themselves to bed. It's very hard for me to be away at night. It's hard to miss that time. Parker continues, "They still like me. There's going to be a point where they won't want me anywhere near the house. That's when I'll come begging, 'Please, please let me have some stage work.'"

In addition to playing fashionista Carrie Bradshaw on Sex and the City for six seasons on HBO, 2008's Sex and the City the Movie and the upcoming Sex and the City 2, she also launched her own affordable clothing line, the now discontinued Bitten, for Steve & Barry in 2007. Sarah Jessica Parker has also performed on the Broadway stage several times during her career. Parker made her Broadway debut in 1976 in the short lived revival of William Archibald's THE INNOCENTS. She went on to play the iconic title role in the original Broadway production of ANNIE. Parker later starred in HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING and ONCE UPON A MATRESS in the 1990s. She is married to Tony Award-winner Matthew Broderick.
