Pop superstar Sara Bareilles sings an original song penned for her upcoming mainstage adaptation of the adorable indie comedy WAITRESS in a new live concert clip now available to view.

The singer-songwriter sings the WAITRESS ballad "She Used To Be Mine" in the new clip captured at a concert in Raleigh, North Carolina, earlier this month.

In the final verse, Bareilles passionately sings, "She is messy but she's kind / She is lonely most of the time / She is always baked in a beautiful pie / She is gone but she used to be mine?."

Of note, pies play a prominent role in the proceedings, as fans of the popular film know well.

Additionally, Bareilles recently took to Twitter to share her excitement over the new project, amusingly writing, "Oh boy. My heart is soaked with excitement. Watching this musical start to take shape is insanely gratifying and precious. #pee".

Yet, the real question remains: does she want pie with that?!
